EXPERIENCE HALIBURTON HIGHLANDS

Heather Lodge is located in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands, making our lodge the perfect location to experience true Canadian topography.  Within 15 minutes from Heather Lodge are five golf courses, scenic log chutes and rapids, kayaking, hiking, and artisan studios. There are four seasons of outdoor activities to enjoy!  Complete your tour around the scenic area with a stop in the quaint villages of Haliburton, Minden, and Dorset.

ALGONQUIN PARK

With a 45 minute scenic drive through the Highway 35 corridor, you will arrive at the Provincial Algonquin Park.  The park offers opportunity of wildlife sightings, hiking, and a visitor centre for a full day of exploring the natural topography of the Canadian lands.  Along the way, be sure to stop at the Dorset Tower, the Hawk Lake Log Chute, and Buttermilk Falls.
