Heather Lodge guests enjoy the full use of all facilities at no
charge. Inside the lodge is our billiard table and games room with
an assortment of board games. Relax in our hot tub or sauna after
a day of physical activities. Outside there is shuffleboard, a lawn
for badminton, and our waterfront is ideal for swimming and boating.
Canoes are available at no charge to our guests. Boat rentals are

for more info. The Haliburton Highlands is known for the fishing
and Twelve Mile Lake is no exception. Small Mouth Bass are the fish
of Twelve Mile Lake while Lake Trout are the catch of Boshkung,
which is accessible by water from Twelve Mile Lake. For the hiker
we have our own nature trail as well as numerous trails in the area.

Within 15 minutes from Heather Lodge are five golf courses, scenic
flight excursions, kayaking, and the famous artisan studios.
In the spring hiking and biking are the order of the day. Getting
out and breathing that fresh spring time air and taking in the new
foliage as it comes to life. What a wonderful time of year as we
are all reborn.

In the fall the Studio Tour is just one of our main attractions.
As well, the fall colours of the Haliburton Highlands are a sight
to behold. Winter brings its own special charm to Heather Lodge.
With direct access to the Haliburton Snowmobile trails, the nearby
cross country trails, and down hill skiing just a half hour away,
Heather Lodge is truly a winter playground. Heather Lodge is located
right on Highway 35, so accessibility in the winter months is never
an issue.
