About us
Heather Lodge first opened in 1942 as Ellen Cliff Lodge. A popular
spot for couples of all ages looking to escape the city or honeymooners
looking for a romantic getaway in Ontario, Heather Lodge remains
an adult oriented facility with no children or pets. Our easy access
and quiet surroundings make us the target destination of both youthful
and senior guests.
Heather Lodge was closed in 2003 and reopened in 2004 after extensive renovations. The lodge still retains the traditional charm of a northern Ontario resort.
The view of our waterfront and trees from your private balcony
in our romantic Lakeview Studios or the lodge deck is second to
none.
Heather Lodge's size
We only have twelve rooms, and a large property of five acres of
waterfront and abundant trees, this means our guests enjoy the
most in privacy and ultimate in personal service while staying with
us. Spend your time relaxing under the giant trees on the lawn or
stretch out on the deck while taking in the view and soaking up
the sun.
