A popular Ontario resort since1942, Heather Lodge was originally known as Ellen Cliff Lodge when it welcomed its first guests to the Haliburton Highlands. For over 60 years, Heather Lodge has offered couples of all ages a restful escape from the stresses of the city and a romantic getaway for honeymooners and romantic couples. Over the years, the beauty of the Haliburton Highlands has not changed and the breathtaking views of scenic Twelve Mile Lake remain the same. Also unchanged is our commitment to our guests. Heather Lodge remains an adult oriented lakeside lodge with a strict no children or pets policy, offering first class lakefront accommodations, fabulous home cooked meals in a bright lakeside dining room and private relaxation in beautiful surroundings.
